The motivation behind CTRL+FREAK is to allow the users vote to influence the selection of videos to be played online in a multi-user viewing scenario. The user can vote by sending a simple SMS (one-character for the video) to a publicly available phone number. Once the previous video stops playing, the application automatically selects the next video to be played based on the majority of votes acquired by a video. CTRL+FREAK was inspired by a show that use to air on MTV2, called Control Freak.
